We will be working through a study of Romans chapters 5-8, utilizing a series of DVD lessons by Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church in Atlanta. His series, called “Nu Me,” provides a fresh look at this section of Scripture in a relevant context, while reinforcing many of the concepts from Exchanged Life (see below). Here is a brief outline of the class:

This class will take place Sunday mornings @ 9:45 a.m. in room #201.

- Why it is a struggle to live out the Christian life in our own strength
- How the struggle began with the Fall
- How we can battle old ways of thinking
- What role indwelling sin plays in the struggle
- How to think more biblically instead of feel your way through life
- Understanding your new identity in Christ
- Understanding the spiritual battle
- Dealing with temptation
- Understanding our death and Resurrection Life in Christ
