  1. This was an incredible message. I appreciate the heart of both men. Thank you for the shot analogy. It is one I hope to hold onto when tough times hit.

  2. How great for you to use what I just commented on from part 1. I guess I should have listened to both parts before posting. Oh well. 🙂
For someone that hasn’t gone through you struggle to say “I understand” is sometimes frustrating to the victim/survivor. On the other hand, having someone who’s been there and come out on the other side gives hope to those who’ve lost hope. I hope that as Christians, we NEVER tell others to “get over it” or “snap out of it.” Walking through the pain, healing the wounds is the only way to be used by God to the fullest. Otherwise, you’re always haunted by past triggers, a lack of trust and walls formed by being wounded.

As a childhood victim, I had no choice but to react the way I did, but as an adult, deciding to deal w/ the disappointments in life cost me my marriage but gave me my sanity and life, back to me.

Your analogy of the dr.s office made me cry for many reasons but how right you are. 🙁 Great job. Thank you.
