Part 1 of a conversation with Wes Tucker of Arab World Ministries.  Arab World Ministries is an international and evangelical mission dedicated to reaching the Arabic speaking Muslim world with the Gospel.  Wes joined in 1987 and worked from 1988 to 2004 in France among North African Muslims.  Wes continues his work with AWM in Ft. Collins, is married and has two teenaged boys.

Wes’ outreach involves producing seminars on Islam in churches, not only to inform Christians, but also to help them become involved in local outreach to Muslims.  These seminars are group efforts, that is, competent teachers living in Colorado with Arab world experience instruct Christians on Islam basics/current trends and how to reach out to Muslims with the love of Christ.  A vital part of these seminars is hearing testimonies of believers from the Arab world, a panel discussion and provision of resource materials and opportunities for evangelism on the local level. 

It is Wes’ goal that every Muslim household in Colorado be reached with the message of the Gospel.
