While many of us assume that the Old and New Testaments are clear in their unanimous rejection of homosexual practice, others claim that the Bible is either unclear on the issue, or condemnatory of only some forms of homosexual practice (e.g., rape and pederasty). This talk is a survey of the primary biblical texts which deal with this critical issue. Find out what the Bible really teaches about homosexuality.

This is the first plenary session lecture delivered on Friday, January 26th @ 6:45pm by Dr. David Horner, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Biblical Studies Biola University. Dave was the plenary speaker at the January 2007 Universanity Conference in Fort Collins, CO. The theme for the 2007 Universantiy conference was, “Worship and Worldview: Loving God With Your Mind.” The weekend conference was co-sponsored by Faith Evangelical Free Church, First Baptist Church, Summitview Community Church and Timberline Church. Universanity is a yearly weekend conference presented by Dayspring Center for Christian Studies.

Alvin Plantinga is one of the worlds most respected philosophers, known especially for his work in epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of religion. Although theologically he is a Calvinist, he is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, a Roman Catholic University. Plantinga is a graduate from Calvin College. He also received his M.A. degree in 1955 from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1958.
